Fix Error “Voice Chat Connection Cannot Be Established” on BBM 7

Many of us have already upgraded BBM to version 7, support voice call is one of the features that appeal to most people, but many of them are experiencing Error “Voice Chat Connection Cannot Be Established” on BlackBerry Messenger 7, even though we are already connected to the Wi-Fi Connection.
Here are the steps that can be taken to fix the problem;
example here is using Windows OS :
On Computer
- Press the Windows/Start key + R
- Type CMD
- Type Ipconfig
- It would appear Default Gateway: Ex; 192.168.X.XXX
On the BlackBerry:
- Open Option
- Select Networks and Connections
- Select WiFi Network
- Press the BB key
- Select the Saved Wi-Fi Networks
- Find the name of the Wi-Fi connection is connected
- Press the BB key
- Select “Edit”
- Uncheck “Automatically Obtain IP address and DNS”
- Fill the column :
- IP Address = Filled as gateway (just change the last digit)
Example; If Default Gateway is 192.168.1.1, for its IP filled 192.168.1.XXX (Change at the last digit, may be filled from number 2 to 255, with a record of IP should not be the same as the ‘Default Gateway’ and ‘IPv4 Address’ in ipconfig )
- Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
- Primary DNS = 8.8.8.8
- Secondary DNS = 8.8.4.4
- Default gateway address = Filled same as “Default Gateway”
- Domain SUFIX =
- Then Save and Connect

For besides windows OS please open the “ipconfig” in your own way. if you can open it, you certainly can adjust the settings to your BlackBerry in accordance with the above explanation.
